Patricia Caillé

Patricia Caillé est maîtresse de conférences au département Information – Communication, à l’université de Strasbourg. Son travail de recherche porte sur les cinémas du Maghreb, les réalisatrices, les publics, etc.

Elle a codirigé avec Florence Martin, Les Cinémas du Maghreb et leurs publics (2012), dossier Africultures n° 89. Coorganisatrice du projet MENA Cinémas, elle a publié des articles dans Diogène, Studies in French Cinema, French Cultural Studies, Interventions: an International Journal of Postcolonial Studies, Nouvelles questions féministes… et dans des ouvrages thématiques.

Patricia Caillé teaches in the Communications Department of the Université de Strasbourg. She works on the reception of Maghrebi and diasporic films in France and the construction of gender. She is particularly interested in postcolonial issues.
